Random post time!
I still miss Grease immensely, but it's definitely getting better! I never see anyone from the musical anymore though, which is a total bummer!
Track is going so well! I basically joined it to stay in shape, and I'm on the 4x100 relay team now. We broke our school's record twice, won the invitational last week, are going to districts, and are .2 seconds away from states. Our team is also one meet away from being undefeated and having a division title. Talk about a shocker! My first year of track.. who would have thought? It's definitely so fun and I'm so glad I decided to do it!
I also have a personal trainer type thing now! His name is Johnny Carlisle, and he's trained so many people it's ridiculous! He's trained 72 different people in the NFL, and countless other professional athletes. And he said I'm one of the fastest girls he's ever had come in! It's definitely helping me improve my running!
Joey and I are doing amazing! Our 3 months is on Saturday, and we're taking the SAT together haha! We had a studying session last night and we watched a movie after, and it was honestly the only time I enjoyed studying. :)
The AP History exam is also next week, and I'm NOT ready. I'm so over that class haha.
Prom is also next week! (the day of the AP history test.. amazing, right? haha) I'm so incredibly excited getting all the last minute things done! And my appointments are going to be starting soon so I can't wait for that either! I'm so excited that I'm going to be able to spend it with Joey.
I'm also going to Jamaica in 48 days! I'm going on a missions trip, and I can't wait! There are 2 different sessions, and Joey will be down there for both weeks, and I won't be going down until the second week.
And just because I need this..
List ten things that have recently made you happy, then tag ten people to do the same.
1. I got a 101% on my Physics quiz
2. My boyfriend came over last night to study for the SATs and we watched a movie after, and it was so sweet!
3. I realized I don't have any true full weeks of school left!
4. I'm qualified for districts for track, and found out we're really close to making it to States, and that I'm a captain for next year! :)
The rest to come later! :)

So 2007 is almost over. I have the video, but decided to do the month by month account on what I did this year. 2007 was amazing and I hope 2008 brings many more memories to all of you.
January: I saw the Drowsy Chaperone. I tried out for my first musical. I only made chorus in the musical, but learned what I needed to do for this year. I started really going to youthgroup. I had musical rehearsals and loved everything about it.
February: I decided to take AP History. I had to take a test and write an essay to get into AP history. Our school district had our first choral fest. We had a huge snowstorm on Valentines Day. We got out early from school, then had 2 1/2 days off from the snow. I saw the Drowsy Chaperone, and met Kelly. I got my original LP of the show signed by the OBC. I helped work at the chicken BBQ for the music boosters and got to babysit Mrs. Benn's daughter.
March: Open gyms started for field hockey. Bob Martin left the Broadway show of the Drowsy Chaperone. I had a ton of musical rehearsals. I performed in my first musical. I went to my first cast party. I stayed over all night at the cast party and did my first all-nighter.
April: I went to convention with the church and that's when I really got close to a lot of people. For the first time in my life, I realized what Easter was really about. I went to NYC with Liz and we saw 3 shows. We stayed at the Mariott Marquis. We saw Sutton's last show of the Drowsy Chaperone. Beth Leavel gave me the best birthday gift ever. I turned 16. I got my permit the day of my birthday. I had a sleepover on my birthday even though it was a school night. The reason I could do this was because we left for Chicago at 2 AM the next morning. I went to Chicago for my first time ever. I saw Wicked there. We performed and had an awesome time exploring the city.
May: I saw the Drowsy Chaperone. I won my first Broadway lottery. I sat front row at A Chorus Line and sat next to Tony Yazbeck's mom. She introduced me to the cast. I saw Mamma Mia with the drama club. We did an acting class with the producer of Jersey Boys. I got my new glasses.
June: My sophomore year ended. I became a junior. I got out of all my finals. I went to Florida for a week. I got to celebrate my grandmother's birthday there. I met family I didn't even know I had. I went to Disney World. I got to pet a penguin and a manatee at Sea World. I went to Universal Studios and went on Revenge of the Mummy 9 times. I got to spend time with my very little cousins and realized that I wanted to become an elementary school teacher. I got invited by my cousins to stay with them next summer to be a nanny for my younger cousins. I started teaching swim lessons.
July: I saw The Pirate Queen's last show. I went backstage at a Broadway show for my first time at the Drowsy Chaperone. I saw Drowsy twice in one week. I saw Spring Awakening. I got really involved with the swim team. I became the "captain" of the girls on the team. I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons and did summer work. I went to field hockey camp.
August: Field hockey preseason started. I made varsity field hockey. Junior year started. I started to realize how much I hated AP History.
September: I applied for National Honors Society. I became president of SADD. Field hockey was fun. Our season wasn't. I found out we're going to Italy for choir in 2009. I convinced my mom to come. I did a bowlathon and realized I wanted to do the bowling team. I started driving lessons with Mr. Charles. I had my NHS interview. I found out I didn't make it.
October: I went to the Renaissance fair for the first time with my English class. I went to Homecoming with my friends. I had a big crush. I hung out with said person. I took the PSATs. I got my license. I went trick or treating with some of my friends.
November: I went to Down on the Farm. I realize that I really actually liked someone else. My relationship with that person grew. The Broadway strike started the day before my trip to NYC to visit Sarah. I still went, and had low expectations for the trip. We won lottery for Young Frankenstein 3 days after it officially opened. We got tickets to one of my new favorite musicals, Altar Boyz. We saw a lot of people in the picket lines. I started bowling team, and made a lot of new friends. I joined church choir. My relationship grew even stronger. I found out he likes me. I met his family. We went on an unofficial "date".
December: My relationship with him grew stronger.

School started. I actually really like this year. AP History is hard and will be challenging, but I'm going to get a lot out of it. All my other classes are really fun. I especially love physics, pre calc, and spanish.
Field hockey is also going really well. Our season offically starts Tuesday and the game should be good.
Nothing else is really going on. I'm going to the beach next weekend with Kaleigh, my mom and her best friend. Kaleigh and I have made a tradition of it, and we haven't gone at all last year or this year, so it was time for us to make a trip. But now, Michelle (my mom's friend) has a camper that she keeps in New Jersey, and we're going to stay in it for the weekend. We're going to 4 different beaches, and we're doing a haunted tour of Cape May! I'm really excited, considering I haven't been to the beach in a year and need a little get a way. And now, I'm going to sleep. :D

So yesterday was the best trip in a lonnnng time.
Some recaps of the day:
- Mara Davi. Holy guacamole is that girl talented. I mean, I knew she was great from when I saw her in ACL, but seeing her in Drowsy made me appreciate her so much more. And she's so sweet. After the show I got a pic (which is AWFUL pic of me) and she said she remembered me from the SD before the show and asked if I was getting pics and stuff. She is such a sweet person. AND HER SHOW OFF. I seriously could have died from all the new stuff that was added. She did 3x the stuff SUTTON did. Love it.
- I got tickets to John's last. Yesterday was his last show and I had NO idea until Beth told me an hour prior. So I saw a lot of cool people attending the show. I got to meet Lisa Lambert and was pretty happy. I asked her to sign my playbill, and other people started doing it too, but I honestly think they thought she was in the show haha. But because it was his last, the cast was like "SLDKFJSLDKFJ!" so the show was really even more amazing. Danny was really "into" it, and he even said so after the show haha. Beth was hysterical and I swear she adds new things everytime I see her.
- I also got to see Beth's last show before her vacation. Talk about timing! I'm just glad I got to talk to her pre-show because she had to jet out right after the show to leave for her vacation. It was so great being able to talk to her for a little bit of time. Some of the stuff she says just makes me feel so happy about everything haha.
- Troy. Enough said.
- I got to move up to second row balc because there was seriously no one in the audience at Drowsy.
- My mom LOVED the surprise I had for her birthday (tickets to Mamma Mia). She adored the show and the music and even though we had an u/s for Carolee (who basically made the show when I saw it back in May) the show was fantastic. I'm so glad I kept the surprise out up until the day of. The only complaint I have is THE FREAKING PEOPLE WHO TALK DURING THE SHOW. There are so many different cultures of people at the show, yet all of them happened to talk. There were these Spanish people in the back who talked OVER the freaking music. I was pissed. But besides that, it was so a great show.
- I got my Chanel purse. And it's so huge. I love it.
- I saw my musical director/vice principal in the Marquis Hotel lounge. It was so random. My mom said after I got back from the bathroom that she saw someone with my school's name on their bag and to see if I knew who they were. I looked over, and it was my school's mucial director! So I went over and we talked for a bit. He was going to see Spamalot with his family and I told him what we were up to. He said whenever he goes to the city he sees someone he knows.
- I got back from the city at 3:30 AM this morning, and had a 7:30 AM prac. We ran 2 miles. And I didn't die! :D
So that's my day in a nutshell. It was one of the best trips I had for awhile. Hopefully going back again for Bway on Bway (since my mom and I loved it so much last year). They are setting up the corral this year for the first 100 people who dress up as characters, though, and I honestly don't know if I want to do that. But that area is so fantastic. I'll have to figure something out.

Pirate Queen is closing. I'm so upset our July 4th gathering is no more, now. But I'm now seeing it's last show *hopefully* with Sarah and Dria. But Nancy is for sure going to be there.
I just feel so horrible for the show.

Hellooo!
Things are really boring lately. I'm just kind of trudging along while I wait for the end of the school year to get here. School has actually been getting on my nerves. Between everything that's been going on in choir and Algebra, I'm just getting tired of it. But whatever.
I'm running for Vice President of the drama club and I think I can get it. Elections are next Tuesday (haha that's actually an election day) so we'll see. Dan helped me write my nomination acceptance and it was SO FUNNY haha. Let me just say I used the phrase "verve and sparkle". Speaking of which, I'm SO looking forward to our trip to Mamma Mia. We get an hour and a half of free time before the show and Dan and I are going to pre-show SD at Drowsy. I'm so glad he suggested that!
Today was possibly the most pointless day ever. It was a half day and I had 2 study halls, in one class I had a sub (and he made us read a book that we never got yet?) and in the other we played Catchphrase. The only real class I had today was Algebra and we reviewed for our test on Monday. Let's just say if I don't ace this test, I'm pretty much screwed.
We also have our choral concert on Tuesday. I'm so excited for choir to be over. I'm sick of being in all 3 choirs. Not once has my teacher thanked me for all the extra time I put in for her. I gave up 4 study halls a week to rehearse with Women's choir and I'm not getting any credit points for it either. It just kind of irks me a little.
Besides that, nothing else is going on. I just got recertified in CPR last night so I am clear to work this summer! I'm going to be teaching swim lessons this summer which will be so fun. I'm looking forward to working this summer now that I'm closer to Tim and Lauren is going to be joining us too. Also, after having Ebbs for a student teacher for half the year, I felt like I know him a lot more.
Now onto eating pizza for lunch. Mm.
